Scott Brown is currently the Assistant Band Director at Dickerson Middle School in
Marietta, GA and serves on the percussion staff and as co-arranger for the BOA
National Champion Lassiter High School Band.  The percussion program at Dickerson
has earned an international reputation for excellence performing for such events as the
Georgia Music Educator's Association (3x's) and National Band Association
Conferences and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention and has been
honored with a Commendation from the Governor of Georgia.  The students at
Dickerson have been exposed to world renown guest artists and clinicians including:  
Sonny Emory, Emil Richards, Lalo Davila, Glen Caruba, and Dr. Tony McCutchen.  Mr.
Brown is a co-author of the Instrumental Music Curriculum for the Cobb County School
District and "Field Level", in instructional text on high school marching percussion
published by Row-Loff Productions and has had two articles published in Percussive
Notes Magazine.  He received a citation for "Significant Contributions to Bands in the
State of Georgia" from GMEA and the "Citation of Excellence" from the National Band
Association.

Mike Lynch has 23 years of public school teaching experience and is currently the
Director of Percussion Studies at Lassiter High School and Assistant Band Director at
Simpson Middle School in Marietta, Georgia.  Mr. Lynch's drumlines and percussion
ensembles have performed at the Georgia Music Educator's Association Conference on
4 different occassions, the BOA National Percussion Festival on 2 occasions, and the
Midwest Clinic.  While he has been the percussion instructor at Lassiter, the Lassiter
"Trojan" Marching Band has won the 1998 & 2002 Bands of America (BOA) Grand
National Championships and 6 BOA Regional Championships.  The band also
participated in the 1999 & 2004 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City and
the 2001 & 2005 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.  Mr. Lynch is
the co-author of "Field Level", "The Rudimental Cookbook", and "Just Desserts" all
published by Row-Loff Productions.  He has had articles published in the Georgia
Percussive Arts Society Newsletter and Percussive Notes Magazine.

Travis Downs
Travis Downs, former Assistant Band Director at Tapp Middle School in Cobb County,
was selected to be a Yamaha Artist/Clinician in 2001 and is a member of the Vic Firth
Educational team.  Mr. Downs is currently the Assistant Band Director at Valdosta
Middle School in Valdosta, Ga. and has taught percussion ensembles at the middle
school, high school, and college level.  He has also served on many percussion staffs,
ranging from DCI, WGI, BOA and many college summer camps.  Mr. Downs is a very
active clinician, arranger, and adjudicator throughout the southeast and has had
various ensembles perform at state conferences and at the prestigious Midwest Clinic.
